How to get to Palermo
By AirPalermo is served by Falcone–Borsellino Airport (also known as Punta Raisi), located approximately 32 km / 19 miles west of the city centre.
The airport is well connected to major European cities and is served by a mix of full-service and low-cost airlines.

Airport Transfers to the City Centre:
Train 
Departs every 30 minutes
Travel time: about 45 minutes
One-way ticket: around €6.80
Arrives at Palermo Centrale station with several intermediate stops along the route.
Bus (Prestia e Comandè)
Runs every 30 minutes, approximately 05:00-00:00
Travel time: about 40-50 minutes
One-way ticket: around €6.50
Taxi
Variable fare: €40-€60
Travel time: 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic
